Poltergeist – Rum BA
BA Imperial Doppelbock
Poltergeist is the big brother of our German style Doppelbock Opgebokt! But made with even more malts, no less than half of which is the tasty Munchener malt. We brew this beer especially for barrel ageing. And for this edition, we’ve used Jamaican rum casks. Plantation Single Cask barrels from 2009 to be exact. This gives this already silky smooth beer subtle notes of caramel, vanilla, pineapple, melon and honey.
A beer to enjoy. Or as they say in Germany “Wie ein Engelchen auf deine Zunge pinkelt”
