Hi, we’re Van Moll. We’re as crazy about beer as we are about brewing it. We experiment and balance, treading the fine line between bold and brazen without going over the top. We combine tradition and knowledge with a dash of confidence to concoct a fixed selection of core beers and a varied range of exceptional specials.

But… beer is about so much more than just balancing flavours. It’s about tantalising all the senses. That’s why we devote the same care and attention to what happens outside the glass as to what goes in it. Extra ingredients like art, music, food, film and fun & educational reading material round out the experience. Every time.

VAN MOLL CRAFT BEER

2021

Our core range switches completely to cans! Together with a spectacular redesign and a brand new website. The sixth Van Moll Fest is planned for 27 and 28 of August…..and we have more big surprises lined up for later this year. Stay tuned…..

2020

Corona threw a spanner in the works with regards to collabs, a collab tour and Van Moll Fest….but it also made us extra creative and we organized several successful online events and an online Van Moll Fest. It also made us (finally!) start our own webshop.

2019

Talking about Wanderlust….our itch for a huge collab road tip reared it’s head again and The Magnificent Seven was born. During the summer we drove around the UK to brew with 7 top breweries: Wylam, North, Northern Monk, Buxton, Wiper & True, Wild Beer Co. and Siren.

2019 also gave us two lovely prizes: Wanderlust won gold as best beer from The Netherlands at the Brussels Beer Challenge (yes, that includes all beers with alcohol!). And Morricone won the Dutch “Knapste etiket” award for the most beautiful beer label.

2018

After many national and international collabs we had the crazy idea for an epic 3000 mile collab road trip to brew with 7 befriended Spanish breweries. We called it Trans Iberico Express and just did it.

We also introduced our sixth core range beer (after adding Triple Trouble as the fifth): Wanderlust. At first this was a 2% ABV low alcohol IPA, after about 8 months we turned it into a non-alcoholic IPA (less than 0.3% ABV)

2017

The third edition of Van Moll Fest took place, for the first time at the location of locations: The Evoluon building. This edition featured 20 breweries and more than 2000 visitors.

In the same year we introduced, together with a proper label redesign, our core range. At that time it consisted of Toewijding (blonde ale), Doerak (IPA), Langharig Tuig (hoppy Weizen) and Ons Blackie (imperial stout).

2016

Our first barrel-aged beer was released! The especially developed Zoltan imperial stout was aged for 8 months on a (yes, literally 1, how cute) Highland Park whisky barrel.

The international metal festival Dynamo Open Air asked us to develop a festival beer. And before you knew it our hoppy Weizen Langharig Tuig (which translates as long haired scum, their badge of honour) was born. It turned out to be a keeper.

2015

The first Van Moll Fest took place, on the courtyard of a local monastery in Eindhoven. Approximately a 1000 visitors enjoyed good food, lovely music….and beer from 8 (inter)national breweries. Which we found quite spectacular at the time.

Doerak, our flagship IPA, was first released as our fourth bottled beer. (Our amber ale Pastorale was the third one).

2014

At first Erwin brewed the beers in the basement, while Jaap sold them in the bar upstairs. In 2014 the first beers were released on bottle: Toewijding (Belgian Blonde) and Ons Blackie (Imperial Stout) were both available first in 75cl, later in 33cl bottles.

The same year we also did our first collab brew….and we started with a bang! With a suitcase full of Dutch Trekdrop liquorice we flew to the UK to brew an imperial liquorice stout with Thornbridge. It’s name? Trekdrop!

2013

“Finally a beer from Eindhoven!”, exclaimed the poster that announced Jaap Hermans and Erwin van Moll’s plans to open the first brewery in Eindhoven after 50 years of drought. The brewpub was an instant success after it’s opening in the 13th of October.

ER WAS EENS…
