An Imperial Black Weizen IPA? Yes, oh yes!
We wanted a Weizen with a twist and immediatly thought of a black weizen or a weizen IPA. Because we couldn’t choose we did both. And made it an imperial as well.
Call it craxy, call it a sign of the times. We call it a discovery of new flavours and styles. The recognizable banana and cloves of a weizen, the fruity aromas of an IPA and the slighty toasted taste of a dark beer (which doesn’t taste like a stout).

Een imperial black weizen IPA? Jazeker wel!
We wilden een weizen met een twist brouwen en overwogen een black weizen of een weizen IPA. En omdat we moeilijk konden kiezen is het dus allebei tegelijk geworden. En dan ook maar direct imperial.
Noem het gekte. Noem het een teken des tijds. Wij noemen het de ontdekking van nieuwe smaken en stijlen. De kenmerkende banana en kruidnagel van een weizen, de heerlijke aroma’s van tropisch fruit van een IPA en de lichte gebrandheid (en toch ook wel mindfuck) dat het een zwart bier is wat absoluut niet smaakt als een stout.
“The times they are a changing” zong Dylan al…..spring op de Zeitgeist trein en reis met ons mee naar de toekomst!
