Tonka tonka is an ode to the tonka bean. Brewed in 2017 for the first time, and now we’ve bottled this beauty!
Tonka beans have a unique, sensual aroma. Very unique. Vanilla, cherry, almond, cinnamon. You get all those tones. The beans are used in desserts and chocolate. And sometimes in beer as well.
Our Tonka Tonka is a hefty stout, with slightly less roasted malts as you are used to (like Zoltan or Ons Blackie). More chocolate, less black coffee.
A perfect made bed on which the intoxicating aroma of the tonka beans rests. Sigh. They make you inspired, those beans.
